Sessions (Mon-Fri)

Robotics Camps (1st-12th grade)

Our robotics camp exposes students of all ages to the basics to advanced topics in robotics. In our week-long robotics camps, students will get to flex their “maker” muscles. They will build robots that use infrared sensors to move and respond to the environment, and have a great time and learn without even realizing it.

*Kits at the camp will be provided at Robolink

Drone Block Coding Camps (3rd-5th grade)

In this camp, students will learn the basics of block coding with drones! They’ll learn about loops, conditional statements, and variables, all in the context of Snap, a block-based programming language. By the end of the week, students will be able to make the drone fly autonomously and complete various missions!

* Laptop required

**Kits at the camp will be provided at Robolink

Advanced Drone Programming Camps (6th grade & up)

Students will learn true text-based coding in Arduino, which is based on C++. They will learn about the onboard gyrometer, infrared sensor, barometer, and more! They’ll learn all about things like variables, loops, conditionals, and more, without even realizing it. By the end of the week, students will be able to make the drone fly with their own buildable remote, or make it fly autonomously through various missions!

* Laptop required

**Kits at the camp will be provided at Robolink

Intro to the VEX IQ Competition (4th - 8th graders)

This is a crash course into the VEX IQ Platform, a worldwide yearly robotics competition. Students will learn the basics of programming and get a first look into VEX IQ’s newest competition for the coming year. Participants will work either individually or as a team to build their robot to solve this year’s mission. You’ll be able to continue on after camp to participate in the competitive season. E-mail us (info@robolink.com) if you’d like to continue into the season.

Self Driving Car Camps (7th grade & up)

In this camp, students will work with our self-driving car to build and program an autonomous car! This is a pilot class for advanced students. If you’ve been to other camps and are ready for more advanced, cutting-edge technology, this is the camp for you! Students will be using computer vision to program their cars to drive autonomously. At the end of the week, students will see their code navigate through a course, using the same methods used at Tesla!

* Only offered in the morning, 9Am – Noon

** Laptop required
