    • Early drop-off (8 am) and late pick-up (5 pm) will be available upon request and availability. An additional $10/hr fee will be billed in 15-minute increments.

Robotics Camps (1st-12th grade)

Technology and robotics are becoming more and more pervasive in our society;

they’re quickly becoming an integral part of our everyday lives. Because we know this, we’ve designed our robotics camps for students of all ages, grades 1 and up.

In our week-long robotics camps, students will learn how robots sense their environment using infrared sensors.  They will build robots that move and respond to your actions through sensors. Moreover, they will explore the potential of using artificial intelligence to solve simple problems.  In effect, students will get to flex their “maker” muscles. Of course, they’ll also have a great time and learn without even realizing it.

Drone Block Coding Camps (3rd-5th grade)

Now even younger students can learn about programming with drones!

In this camp, students will learn the basics of block coding with drones! Explicitly, they’ll learn about the importance of loops, conditional statements, and variables, all in the context of Snap! for Robolink, a simple block-based programming language.  Consequently, at the end of the week, students will be able to make the drone fly autonomously and complete various missions!

Advanced Drone Programming Camps (6th grade & up)

In this camp, students will learn how to program drones to complete autonomous missions.

In effect, they will learn fundamentals of programming as well as learning how to control various sensors in the drone, including Gyro, Accelerometer, Barometer, IR, and Optical Flow. Moreover, they’ll learn about key concepts in computer programming, such as how to define variables, write and call procedures, and apply loops.  At the end of the week, students will be able to make the drone fly autonomously or be able to program the remote controller to fly the drone themselves!

Intro to the VEX IQ Competition (4th - 8th graders)

Students will take a crash course into the VEX IQ Platform.

Specifically, they will learn the basics of programming as well as get a first look into VEX IQ’s newest competition for the coming year. Participants will work either individually or as a team to build and modify their robot to try and accomplish this year’s mission. Subsequent enrollments will allow students to progress further into the build of their robot as well as learn and prepare more for the coming competitive season. Self Driving Car Camps (7th grade & up)

In this camp, students will work with our Robocar+Raspberry Pi and Pi Cam to build and program their own autonomous car!

This is a class only for advanced and serious coders. If you’ve been to our other camps and are looking to get into more advanced, cutting-edge technology, then this is the camp for you! Students will be using computer vision to program their cars to drive autonomously. At the end of the week, students will be able to see their car drive autonomously through courses with the code they wrote themselves, using the same methods used at Tesla!
