Meet CoDrone Mini
Small in size. Big on code.
Programming languages: Blockly and Python
What you'll learn: Drones, flight, sensors, LEDs, block coding, text-coding
The CoDrone Mini is our miniature drone, meant to be a great introduction to coding. Start at the basic level, with block-based coding using Blockly, and move on to advanced-level topics in Python, such as plotting sensor data or how a gyrometer works.
Unlike the CoDrone Mini Educator Package, this is just a set of 12 individually boxed CoDrone Minis, no additional accessories or professional development.
What's Included:Each individual CoDrone Mini kit includes:
- 1 CoDrone Mini
- 1 CoDrone Mini controller
- 1 rechargeable battery (~5 mins of flight)
- 1 battery charger (~45 min charge time)*
- 1 micro USB cable
- 1 set of extra propellers (2 clockwise, 2 counter-clockwise)*
- 30-min Onboarding virtual course
30-Min Onboarding Course Included
A 30-minute Onboarding virtual course is included with this set. Schedule a 30-minute timeslot where we will walk you through where all of our learning resources are, such as our lesson portal, lesson plans, coding platforms, documentation, and where to find support. We highly recommend this for all educators using our CoDrone Mini in their classroom. In order to make the information timely, the Onboarding course expires 1 year after purchase. Ideally, you should schedule your onboarding course within a few weeks of when you plan to use the CoDrone Mini in your classroom, so the knowledge is fresh.
