Blockly Minimum Requirements

Blockly for Robolink

Blockly for Robolink logo

Blockly for Robolink is currently in beta.  It’s an online block-coding platform based on Blockly. You can currently use this to app control the CoDrone.

Minimum system requirements:

  • Chrome Browser version 56 or later
  • Hardware that supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), which is different from Bluetooth Classic
  • For MacBooks, that means MacBooks from 2012 or newer. Older MacBooks only have Bluetooth Classic, but no BLE support.
  • For Windows machines, Windows 10, version 1703 or newer (Apr 5, 2017 update). Older Windows versions don’t support BLE. Check your Device Manager to see if your computer has BLE installed.
  • We’ve noticed issues specifically with the Bluetooth driver becoming disabled on these models after about 45 minutes of use: Acer Aspire 3 – A315-21, Acer Aspire 1 – A114-31, Acer Aspire 3 – A315-41, which can be temporarily fixed by re-installing the driver, though this isn’t an ideal user experience. This seems to be a known Bluetooth issue on some Windows machines.

CoDrone and controller, outdoors

The CoDrone Pro does everything the CoDrone Lite does, but it also comes with an Arduino-compatible buildable remote. The CoDrone is a tiny quadcopter drone you can easily program to do whatever you want: follow you, engage in laser battles, go through a maze and more. Whether you are brand new to drones and coding or you’re a longtime drone lover, you will have a blast with the CoDrone.

CoDrone Lite Seba Learning

CoDrone Lite is the same drone as CoDrone Pro, but without the complexity of the buildable remote controller.  Rather than programming in Arduino, everything is block-based coding.  A simpler, lighter package for the young drone programmer and pilot!

About

We Are Awesome

In an ideal world this website wouldn’t exist, a client would acknowledge the importance of having web copy before the design starts. Needless to say it’s very important, content is king and people are beginning to understand that. However, back over in reality some project schedules and budgets don’t allow for web copy to be written before the design phase, this is sad but true.

We’re here to help, we’ve written examples of web copy for over 40 industries for you to use at concept phase of your projects to bring a little life and realism to your designs and help you think about who and what you are designing for. We want clients and designers alike to think about their design and how it will work with the web copy, we want you think about how numbers.
